We have taken care in establishing and implementing policies and procedures to protect this information. 

Confidentiality and safekeeping of your personal information is a top priority for Farmers State Bank. We do not share your personal information and we are committed to protecting your privacy at all times. That’s why we have a Privacy Policy.

Collection and Use of Financial Information

We collect, retain and use nonpublic personal information about you only where we reasonably believe that it will help administer our business, or provide products, services, and other opportunities to you. We may collect nonpublic personal information about you such as your name, address, and social security number from various sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
  • Information about your transactions with us;
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.

Disclosure of Information

We DO NOT disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone except as permitted by law. We do not provide account or personal information to companies for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct-mail marketing of any non-financial products or services of those companies.

We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to service providers and companies that perform services on our behalf (for example: check printing companies, data processing services) or to others with whom we have joint marketing agreements. We do not reveal specific information about your accounts or other personally identifiable data to parties outside our bank unless:

  • You request or authorize it;
  • The information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you;
  • The information is provided to a reputable credit bureau or similar information reporting agency;
  • The disclosure is otherwise lawfully permitted or required (e.g. subpoena, investigation of fraudulent activity, requests by a regulator, etc.).

Confidentiality and Security

We are committed to the security of your financial and personal information. We maintain and grant access to customer information only in accordance to our internal security standards. We safeguard information according to established security standards and procedures, and we continually assess new technology for protecting all information.
All of our operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects your account information from being accessed by third parties. Each bank employee is required to follow our Bank’s Code of Conduct, which states that all customer information is considered private and privileged and is to be used by them solely for the purpose of providing you with the finest services available. Our employees are trained to understand and comply with these information principles.

Internet Provider

We have established a relationship with Certegy as our iezline internet banking provider. Certegy utilizes Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure all data transmissions are encrypted and are unreadable to any person or group that became able to “intercept” the transmission. SSL encryption is the industry standard and is commonly used in Internet applications that require security and privacy for sensitive data. Farmers State Bank transmits data using SSL technology also that supports 128-bit key encryption. Certegy continues to evaluate and implement the latest improvements in internet security technology.

Passwords

Our service provider uses ids and passwords. Before you can access iezline internet banking you are required to enter your password. Without the proper password and id, customers cannot see or use any Web pages within iezline.

Links to websites contained in iezline internet banking are offered only as sources of information on subjects that may be of interest to users of iezline. Farmers State Bank is not responsible for the content or authenticity of these sites. Use of these sites is solely at the user’s own risk.

User Responsibilities

User’s of iezline internet banking also have responsibilities for security of their own information:

  • Keep your id and password confidential. You must follow Farmers State Bank’s specific parameters for a password. Be sure others are not watching you enter information when using iezline.
  • Never leave a computer unattended while logged on the iezline internet banking system.
  • Exit when you are finished using the system to properly end your session. No further transactions can be processed once you exit and your session is ended.
